Our company was created by Scott Landon in the early 1990's. Our goal was to find and supply 19th Century furniture
from Eastern Canada to Western retail outlets. Our specialty today is still 19th Century Canadian and American country furniture in original paint, as well as good architectural elements and original large harvest tables.
As a result of expansion in 2002, a large warehouse was opened in Cloverdale housing the workshop and extensive inventory for processing. Our staff is anchored by warehouse/shop manager Rob Hyslop, who is master refinisher and all around good guy capable of dealing with all facets of tuning selected pieces. We also offer 19th century wide-plank flooring, recycled from pre-c.1860 homes in Eastern Canada, as well as local recycled fir with emphasis on wider planking and worn patina.
Since opening in Cloverdale, we have participated in Antique Shows across Canada and throughout the USA. We are confident in our abilities to locate that special piece, or to furnish an entire commercial venture such as a B&B, lodge, or office.
In spring of 2005 we opened a showroom on South Granville Street in Vancouver, showcasing some of the best 18th and 19th Century furniture available in Western Canada. At this location we are also focusing on great Canadian and American Folk Art. Our Granville store manager is George Oystryk, who has had many years' experience in antique furniture and refinishing, as well as interior design. A new feature to our existing inventory is the implementation of turn of the century to mid century industrial furnishings. ENJOY!
