Quebec pine demi lune table in original polychrome white paint over red wash. Paint is nicely age cracked with original untouched top maintaining it's deep patina and red paint ..This piece has no restoration and in perfect condition. These tables are increasingly difficult to find in this condition and size .

This is a nice clean example of an 18th century small commode/bufffet in typical Quebec style construction. The finish has lots of red highliting with strong patina as it appears to have never been sanded or over finished.

Size is wonderful with functioning drawer and doors. Piece has original hardware with 1920 addition of knobs (easily removed), as well as bold double raise panels on the doors and sides. See books on "The early french furniture of french Canada" for similar examples .

Recently acquired from a private collection with no structural problems or alterations.

Outstanding untouched Quebec armoire in first surface green paint with bold raise panels, rat tail hindges , and overlaping doors. This piece has never been offered on the open market and was recently acquired from a private collection in the west. The cupboard has had a few minor restorations, namely the top right side cornice and base moulding.

The paint is perfect and is as good example as i have seen for 200 years old. A gem for any collection.
